  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup dessicated coconut
  • 125gms butter
  • 2 tablesp golden syrup
  • 1 tablesp water
  • ½ teasp bicarbonate of soda

Preheat oven to 160C

Line baking trays with paper. Spray with oil

Combine oats, sifted flour, sugar and coconut in a large bowl

Combine butter, syrup and water in a small saucepan

Stir over low heat till smooth
