  • Base
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 1 cup plain flour GF
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 120gms melted butter
  • Caramel 2 tins condensed milk
  • 150gms golden syrup
  • 120gms melted butter
  • Chocolate Topping
  • 150gms chocolate
  • 60gms copha or 1 tablesp vegetable oil
  • Extra dark chocolate for garnish

Preheat oven to 170C

Combine all ingredients for the base

Press into a greased slice pan 26x17

Bake at 170C for 15mins. Set aside to cool

In a saucepan combine condensed milk, golden syrup, and butter

Stir for 20 mins till light golden colour

Pour this over the base

Melt chocolate and copha in microwave

Wait till set, Melt dark chocolate and drizzle over slice
