Chocolate Crunch Slice

  • 180gms butter
  • 1 cup cornflakes
  • 1cup dessicated coconut
  • 3/4 cup caster sugar
  • 1cup SR flour
  • 2tablesp cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries
  • Chocolate Icing
  • 1cup icing sugar
  • 11/2 tablesp cocoa powder
  • 1tablesp soft butter
  • Hot water

Place butter in small bowl and cover with a paper towel

Melt on med heat for 2 mins in microwave

Place coconut, cornflakes and sugar in a bowl

Add cranberries

Add melted butter and mix well

Press mixture firmly into a lined and greased slice pan

Cook on med high for 6 mins in microwave

While crunch is cooking, make icing

Mix icing sugar, cocoa powder and butter in a small bowl

Add hot water till icing is spreadable

Ice cooked crunch while still warm

Cool then refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours
