Double choc chip cookies

Ingredients
  • 250gm butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 ¼ cups plain (all purpose) flour
  • sifted
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 140gm dark chocolate buttons
  • 140gm white chocolate buttons

Preheat the oven to 150c

Place the butter and sugars in a bowl and beat until light and creamy

Add the eggs gradually and beat well

Add the flour, baking powder, cocoa and chocolate buttons, mix well

Shape 2 tablespoonfuls of the mixture into rounds

Place on baking trays lined with non stick baking paper, allowing room for the cookies to spread, and flatten slightly

Bake for 20- 25 minutes or until dark brown on the bottom
