  • 500 gms butter melted
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 4 teasp vanilla essence
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 11/3 cups cocoa powder
  • 11/2 teasp baking powder
  • 200gms quality .dark chocolate

Melt the butter, chocolate and sugar together in a large pot on low heat.

Take off the heat as soon as it is melted and add the vanilla extract.

Cool slightly

Whisk eggs in a jug. Mix in the eggs

Fold in dry ingredients
